The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers University has a non-tenure track, part-time lecturer position opening in the Solid State Electronics field.

The candidate should be able to instruct the following courses:

Undergraduate Level:

1.  Electromagnetics and Optics

  • Optoelectronics
  • Electromagnetic Waves

2. Electronics and Circuits

  • Analog Electronics
  • Digital Electronics
  • Physical Electronics

3.  Power Electronics

Graduate Level:

1.  Electromagnetics and Optics

  • EM Waves
  • Optoelectronics I
  • Optoelectronics II

2.  Power Electronics and Renewable Energy

  • Power Electronics in devices, circuits and system aspects
  • Solar cells

This position is for the Fall 2014 Semester, with the possibility of renewal.

A Ph.D. in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or Computer Science is required.  Applicants with teaching experience in related fields are strongly encouraged to apply.  Qualified candidates should submit their CV's, statements on teaching, and the names of three references.
